What Does a 4 Point Inspection Cover?

A 4 Point Inspection is a limited inspection of the four major home systems.

. 4 Point Inspections include:

• Roof: Type of covering, estimated age and condition, and any visible defects

• Electrical System: Type of wiring, main panel brand, and overall condition of system

• HVAC: Type of system, estimated age and condition, and any visible defects

• Plumbing: Type of supply and drain lines, hot water heater brand and estimated age, and overall condition or evidence of leaks

Some insurance companies require the inspector to use their form when completing a 4 Point Inspection, others allow the inspector to use their preferred form. We are familiar with all of the different formats. Pictures of each system will also be included in the report.
